FYI: The UNLV Legal Aid Center and the Hispanic Law Students Association will be putting on a free informational session about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on Oct. 13.
In June, the federal government announced that certain people who came to the U.S. as children and meet several key guidelines may request consideration of deferred action through the DACA program for 2 years and be eligible for work authorization.
