Who will put out the fire?

"The taxes you pay for the fire department are now options, the fire department will still come and put out the fire at no cost to you."

Union dues pay for wage negotiations, benefits, and the cost of running a union. Non-members who work under union contracts get union attorneys, union insurance, union protection without paying a dime into the cost of those services.

Is that fair?

Or are right-to-work laws just a way of ending unions in America.

They are working for the unions so I can understand why they would be taken care of. So long as they aren't wasting the union's finances, helping the union, and they respond to those who fund the union then I would say let them be supported by their employer.
