Remembering Wounded Knee: 122 years ago today

On Dec. 29, 1890, a Lakota encampment on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota was attacked by the U.S. Army and close to 300 Native Americans were murdered in the Wounded Knee Massacre.
