I have a feeling that this picture will evolve into all three using some sort of Social Media to conduct the marriage, I.E. cyber marriage.

I am not very fond of EMC. I believe it takes away from face to face interactions. I think people become socially retarded when it comes down to building rapport and feedback. With EMC you can look at the message and think to yourself, "I'm not sure how to respond to this, I'll think of something a little bit later and get back to them." I must admit the reason why I used to be so shy is because of the fact that I relied on EMC all the time. It was like I could say whatever I wanted and not have to see the other person's nonverbal cues and not have to respond immediately to what they had to say. Now I do everything in person and my communication skills have gotten a lot better.

Unfortunately EMC is becoming in my opinion is becoming too important is society today. To many people think it's possible to foster a lasting relationship using EMC. EMC is wonderful for quick messages but how can people truly know each other if no verbal or face to face contact has been established.
