Republicans block keeping Student Loans Low

All Senate Republicans voted not to accept a plan to keep student loans low. Saying they want the same thing as Democrats, Republicans said they could not accept the Democratic bill. Democrats and Republican both blame each other for paying politics with students education and student debt.

All, All senate republicans voted against keeping student loans low and they say they want the same thing as Democrats... right. They have no shame, they might want similar things and possibly think that there may be a better alternative route(I doubt it), but to lie and say they want the same things... just goes to show- "You can't trust politicians". On either side.

well at least getting a student loan doesn't take quite as long as an act of congress...interest rates need to be low..

It's sad because what I've seen from them is a plight to make President Obama look bad at the expense of America. This is jut another example.

That's exactly what need to happen. If we're struggle with the price of higher education now, imagine if we do nothing about it. Our children will be in debt for the rest of their life.

Keep the tax cut for the rich and veto the plan to keep student loans low? Send our soldiers to foreign countries to be killed and veto universal health care? Support men enhancing drugs under insurance but not birth control pills for women? Republicans have the best ideas for this country!

Another example of how the republicans disgust me. I'm sure their parents all paid for their private education and never once had student loans. We need real people elected to office.
