True that. Logic follows whats already know or believed to be true, while imagination leads way to new discoveries.

I love this quote by Albert Einstein. I read an article in Time magazine as well as a biograhical book on him. He was a fascinating man. I recommend any reading material about him.

Jeff (Phoenix HUM/114) I like this quote, however another quote for this would be "do you need logic to imagine?" What is logic? Is it a form of common sense? Can anyone have imagination? This quote by Albert Einstein poses critical thinking questions. Looking into the quote you have to ask questions, which can not be bias and must be open minded. If you can imagine are you a critical thinker?

Logic will not always get you from A to B. i have seen and heard many logical things that have left a person stuck and in ahh. imagination it can also lead you no where

is it not ironic that a lot of people have neither logic nor imagination.... Sometimes I am full of wonder of how people can simply not put 2 and 2 together about simple things. A lot of that has to come from my line of work... That is the same reason why I wonder why the people I work with still hVE THEIR jobs... They simply have no logic..

This quote sums up a lot. People can go far in life but imagination will take you to places that logic would never be able to. Imagination will bring a lot of success with it.

I agree with this quote... We can have logic and we can be successful but if we can use our imagination it could take us further because we are thinking critically and not the norm.

And what a combination both make! Seems that many are lacking either one or the other. Knowledge without common sense is the worst! No matter how smart Einstein was, he wouldn't have been nearly as successful without his imagination.

I'd say Steve Jobs got the message. Einsten was brilliant , absent minded man with a shock of white-hair that he was famous for. I understand that he didn't speak until he was 3 and did poorly in school because it bored him. It's not likely that we will ever really understand how his mind worked, but certainaly his imagination took him places we can only begin to imagine.

so true, you can do anything and go anywhere with imagination.
