Women's right to know being limited by Arizona Legislature
It's called a 'wrongful birth' bill and it's all about preventing women from having an abortion, even if it kills them. The Arizona Senate passed a bill this week that gives doctors a free pass to not inform pregnant women of prenatal problems because such information could lead to an abortion.

This bill is going to get doctors killed. When that woman comes in with that baby to the doctor after all those visits the doctor has been saying that shes just been gaining a few pounds, she is going to murder him!

I dont think it's ok to withold information from a patient. People should know whats going on with their bodies. They should allow Dr's to refuse to offer abortions, but they shouldn't allow a Dr. to withold information.

This is a joke. First our insurance can't cover birth control and now we can't be informed of issues with said baby because doctors do not want us to abort a baby. Rediculous!

This is.... wow. I wish I had more to say, but I'm not sure if I should because it could end up with a loooot of swear words. This is ridiculous and completely unethical.
If I ever decide to have a baby, somebody remind me not to move to Arizona?

I livede in Arizona when I was pregnant and my doc was the best ever!!!!! Although there were only two docs in BHC. But that is whyu we have the shows like "I Didnt Know I Was Pregnant". That is not okay for doctors to not tell a person if they are pregnant or not. The doctors view of abortion/ no abortion should not affect their CARE of the person that is pregnant......
