Inspirational words of wisdom. Make the best of your time with your friends on this earth cuz one day they'll be taken out of it.

P.S. I too have a dream MLK, that one day people will silence their cell phones in movie theatres.

I think this is so true. We can have all the haters in the world, but we truly need those few friends to be there to side with us when it matters most.

This reminded me of that famous quote, "Silence can speak louder than words..." In this case, the silence of those closer to you means so much more than the mindless chatter of those who oppose you. Sometimes sitting in silence witha friend or loved one can be much mroe comforting than talking during tough times.

being treated unfairly by an enemy is expected, but it cuts really deep to be abandoned by someone who we love or who is supposed to love us.

When i read this quote i associated "silence" with happiness- our enemies or haters will always have something to be upset and angry about therefore always have something to gripe about. Where as friends on the other hand, you may not always remember what they say or said (because it wasn't a complaint or nagging comment) but more so you will remember the Moments spent with those friends!!!

Sad, but true. I imagine this happened alot during the segregation times. Of course, it still happens today too. We all need to speak up and stand up for one another.

How true. When it comes down to it, I don't remember the hate slurs and protests against the U.S. and all we stand for on a daily basis, but I do miss those friends whom I lost to the war on a daily basis. R.I.P. Sgt. John Allen.
