All I can think of is, "Planet of The Apes." Another thought is Why? Of course they like it. You would like it too if you were locked into a small enclosure. Oh, I get it. We have people addicted to these devices..........sooooooooo why not have our "wild" animals addicted to it as well?!!!! You're a bunch of morons.

This is very interesting. It just shows how intelligent apes are and how we can learn a lot from them to know more about ourselves.

Well we did "evolve" from apes and I personally think they're as smart as we are. Haven't you seen the movie "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" lol.

really? uh, this is weird- first off, why are orangutans using ipads? secondly how does this woman know they "like" what they are watching... simply because they dont walk away? what if hes trying to change the channel!? hm... weird!

Why do monkeys get iPADs and i dont!!!!! I think this clearly shows they are more intelligent than other animals of course, but at the same time, like the woman stated, they would probably "destroy them" if given on their own. It's neat to watch, but I do not know how training monkeys to use technology is going to further our knowledge of anything, for that matter. I hope my tax dollars didn't buy those iPADs.

I'm not really surprised by this, because like others said, we did evolve from apes. I don't find it unlikely that they would enjoy some of the same stuff that we do. However, I'm not really sure how teaching to draw lines on iPads is really gonna help further their intelligence. They should teach the apes how to play on real pianos instead of using the apps - it's not exactly the same thing.

Thats really interesting. I shouldn't be suprised though. People and monkeys are often compared and definitely have some things in common. If people do it, of course someone would try it with monkeys. Its cool that we got to see it on video though.
