Dress for Success

I'm honestly a bit disappointed that all of the CSN-planned events are being hosted at the Cheyenne campus as of late. I have no way of gettign to them, as I walk to the Henderson campus from my apartment a mile away in order to attend here. This looks like an interesting event for a young job-hunter like me, but I have no way of getting there. I wish there were more events at Henderson.

This is good to know cus some women wear way too much makeup and can use some help on how to look professional.

This is a great seminar for students and anyone in the work force that think coming to work in pajamas or sweatpants and short skirts and tank tops is appropriate.

I know some people like to think looks don't matter, but they really do. I mean you shouldn't be judged on the looks you are born with, but the way you present yourself is important. It tells people about you and how you feel about the situation. For example, if you wear your gym clothes to a job interview for a professional company, the employer will get the impression that you don't care. First impressions are especially important in finding a job, since you may not get a chance to make another.

Make-up done by Mary-Kay. Sounds like a sell, but I suppose if it's done for the right reasons, anybody can have access to the disposible cash supply of a young college generation, eager (most of us), to land that job.
