Content providers may adopt per-screen pricing

With the proliferation of online video content being consumed on multiple devices, providers of that content may need to adopt a per-screen pricing model, according to Steve McCaffery, a vice president at Motorola Mobility. "We expect different pricing models to emerge that give the user the rights to watch content on one or more devices," he said. Total Telecom Magazine (U.K.)

I thought about it for a bit and okay, sure, I'm in. It better not be per every individual screen, I should have the option to pay by that or a pack per se of 5 devices and add additional +1 or pack devices instead of going:

There are 8 hotdogs in a pack and 7 buns, so I have to buy 7 packs of hotdogs and 8 packs of buns just so I can have hotdogs for 50 people. While it's not true, there are 8 hotdogs and 8 buns it's an analogy here.
