I found this interesting to examine. I think the bottom 3 tiers really are the most important. You need to have knowledge before you can comprehend it, you need to comprehend it before you can apply it, and then you need to be able to apply it to make it anything more than useless knowledge.

This model is great. Knowledge is nothing if you can’t comprehend and understand it. Knowledge is useless if you can’t apply it to something useful. After applying it you should analyze and make sure your knowledge is applicable. Then synthesize and evaluate the rest.

I feel that this world would be a much better place if everyone fully understood this! Too many people try to apply or evaluate things without knowing and comprehending the true meaning.
