I really like this one. It shows a great example of the social norm.

A wise person once told me, only with change can we evolve and move on to better things even if changes is scary and sometimes painful.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

I wonder if any monkey every thought to just knock the ladder over to see what would happen? You have to think out of the box some times to get the bananas!!

It's sad that this is so true, most of us just stop asking at a point, because we just say that's how it is. I thought the same thing Maura Goldberg did, I thought that when the 1st replaced monkey came in that it would just knock the ladder over. Like Maura said, "You have to think out of the box some times to get the bananas!!"

Think about it, our worst impedance to success is our peers. If one person goes against the group, they get hammered and labeled a sellout. If they break out anyway, they are no longer associated with by their old friends. Human nature tries to squash the talented and successful to dumb down expectations so everybody feels better and no one gets their feelings hurt. Show me an environment where there is no competition and I'll show you a bunch of monkeys sitting at the base of a ladder starving for a banana.
