What a neat thing to motivate people to take the stairs while walking out a tune. It reminds me of lasts months Google Doodle a tribute to Les Paul, a Guitar's stings on thier home page for a couple of days as so you could key out the notes. I could not leave it alone.

Those stairs are definitely awesome!! I really would take the stairs way more often if they were a giant piano. Exercising is always better when it is fun. I think if stairs were like this people would be healthier.

Its an awsome way to make people walk. Since were in our mother womb we react to sound. SO its the perfect way to make people walk. There is only one concern. When it gets crowed its going to be a little annoying. :)

I had seen this video before, love it! Great way to motivate people.

I would say this is an extremely accurate theory. I would definitely take the stairs, and maybe even get a little workout just because it seems so fun. I wonder how many pianists actually attempted to perform great songs by working out on this staircase!

what a fun and exciting way to excersie and lose weight without even thinking about it. I wish we have one of those stairs in our city. I mean if we had one, I know for sure that no one would ever take the elevator because most people want to experience the new thing and by eliminating the usage of elevators we would have less obesse people in town.

How original! I did notice however that is was funded by VW, what (aside.from. free advertisement) would they get? I',m not even remotely musically inclined but I have a feeling that it wouldn't matter much on here...

It is a very creative solution for the interior, wish there were more things like that in our malls. And yes, I would prefer walking in this case, I just wouldn't be able to resist.

I think this is such a creative and fun idea for people to use the stairs! Especially since I love the piano, I find the idea even that more fascinating! However, I'm sure that having to many people walking up and down those stairs not carrying a tune may cause alot of noise to the public. But, it's still pretty awesome!

Oh my gosh, that was amazing. I wish they had musical stairs in henderson. I'd definitely be one of the people that stayed on the stairs longer just to play with it. Fun does make everything better.

Again another shocking video. I agree with the video 100%. Things today are made to easy for us. We keep advancing in every aspect so what everyone wants is to the the next best thing. And the escalater was the next best thing to the stairs so we move forward. But this video changed that and made the piano stairs the next best thing. And 66% more people chose to have fun on the stairs and be apart of it. Beautiful!

This is an awesome way to motivate others to walk. I would totally use the stairs if this was on them. I like taking stairs anyway but this would make it that much more fun!

I found this video to be even more interesting because I have myself recently become more physically active. It simply shows that physical tasks are easier to follow through with and achieve if it is fun! I especially loved the people who took the extra second to jump back and fourth on several stairs!! :D

It is clear to see that people are still interested in doing something hopeful and fun in their lives. That they still look forward to something extraordinary in their life!

This is so awesome! I actually would love to have this in my house. I would probably play on it all day! I do think that it would be a good thing to try because it is not good how unused the stairs have become. I know from personal experience that I will walk up stairs sometimes and feel winded ( and I'm very in shape and active). I'm sure if it wouldn't be that way if I didn't always choose the escalator without even thinking. This is such an awesome idea and if just adding a little fun to make people more active then I say we do it!

The cynic in me believes these people are just easily amused. Who wouldn't want to give it a shot though? Reminds me of when Tom Sawyer tricked all of his friends into painting the fence.

WHat a great idea to get people moving and more active. Would be nice if there were more places with a creative touch that would induce physical activiy and make it fun for people.

Very interesting, it WOULD be much funner to walk on stairs with a piano. They should fill a bunch of stairs with pianos on the strip...

Oh my goodness why do they not have this piano stairs everywhere?! Imagine how many people would add just a little exercise back into their lives with this fun invention! It's a step up for plain boring stairs I say!

I think its a great idea to put a little fun in your life with something not meant to be fun. If only everything could be a little bit more upbeat I think everyone would be happier. In this case you get a little benefit of exercise as well.
