Aw! I love this. So true, it's definitely what/how you say things that make an impact.

That made me tear up a little! Great clip to remember that with a few words it could change things and others perspective.

If only every single person acted as she did... what a difference it would make in our society

This is a good thing to remember at this time of year! "Have yourself a merry little Christmas!" is so much better than "Happy Holidays"

This really moved me. The women didn’t even give the man money but helped him so much by taking some time, changing a few words around on his sign, and let everyone else give their money to him. This also shows how time is greater than money in most situations than not.. This is perfect for this time of year. Give your time, not your money to the ones you love. It ends up meaning so much more in the long run.

I think this illustrates perfectly the power of words by the lack of words and therefore the lack of power!

Wow, this was a good video! I liked it, and it's crazy to think that just with a little change of words people will take things differently.

Wow, that was cool and depressing at the same time. It's horrible that he couldn't see that beautiful day, but awesome that a lady helped him out with words. Everyone has a different view of the world, and a different way of expressing it through words and art.

This clip was so inspiring, and coincidental because i was just reading a book that was teaching if you choose your words wisely, you can get a much different/better response out of people. This clip proves it true!!

This is a beautiful clip. And so true. Words can mean anything and can be rephrased and made better. In a way she used Aristolels proof Pathos

Its amazing how just a change in words can make such a differnce in the outcomes. Sometimes makes you feel that you need to think twice about things you say so that the person you are trying to get your message across understands it clearly.

This video definitely shows how words could make such an impact. Such a simple thing as before the woman wrote the saying, people were just tossing the coins and after they were bending down to place it rather then showing it. The people had more sympathy along with respect in my eyes after that woman wrote the saying.

This was awesome to watch!! It is great to see that there are people who look out for others. :)) words, in this case written words, can and do make a diffrence!!

Instead of always being in a rush & you take time just to write a few words to make people have a better day it's worth it. Just remember someone else has it worst than you!

Communication is truly how you word stuff. The whole time I was sitting here thinking "WHAT DID SHE WRITE?!?!" :)

There is a deep moral value message to this. The blind bum having a pity party is our youth. Blind and reaching for help, only a few chip in with petty cash but only you can make the big money and rescure yourself. Astounding message, my life has changed, im going to church first thing in the morning.

It’s just astonishing how the same comment worded differently can change the way people react to something that ability is one of the reasons I am taking this class. This is also a good representation of how our words and how we convey them can change the outcome of a situation.

This video just shows how words can change the perception of people in a good way. Sadly words can also change an innocent statement into a negative one. Geat video!

What a very moving video, how the words phrased differntly have changed how society looks at the blind man.

The video is astonishing. The change in words to say the least is very touching.

In such a moving video I'm saddend to say I think it also points out a bad aspect of humanity. Why are we so incapable of using logic to elicit the same power as words have? Potentially were too jaded / incompassionate to use logic to deduce any other message than pity me in these scenarios.

Oh my goodness. That broke my heart. It kills me to see people on the streets and to imagine what their lives must be like. Being blind and on the streets... depressing. I wish we lived in a world where bad things didn't happen.

The video is a demonstration of just how effective and powerful words are in a society. Use words wisely and the impact will speak volumes.

This clip makes me think in two ways. First, that the woman with the shoes read his sign and did what he asked and helped him. The second is that positivity breeds positivity. People would much rather be inspired by words versus exposed to another person expressing “woe is me”. I feel that people want to be inspired. I don’t wake up each day and say I sure hope everyone dumps their problems on me today, that road raged drivers cut me off during my commute and that each person I come into contact with is rude to me. I believe everything comes back three fold. It is our actions and not our beliefs that make us who we are, and with that I will forever pay it forward.
