It's true that frindship can not be prized. From watching this VDO,I have realized that all of us are all indiviuals in personality, and background. But the true friendship is what all of us are longing for. The true friendship is hard to find. But when you have found it, give that mutual respect, and dont let it slipt away.

I have to say, that was kind of a weird video. At least the first part. I thought it was pretty awesome when the dog rode on the back of the dolphin though, I mean who hasn't dreamed of doing that? Jealous!

I have heard of dolphins being called the dogs of the sea because they are so intelligent and can be trained just as dogs are. It was nice for the dog to have a helping fin when he needed it but I do not think a dolphin would chase off a shark unless it was for her babies protection. Nonetheless, it was still a nice video because sometimes we all need to accept help from unlikely sources.

I think a dog saved Flipper once on TV

Actually I think that dolphins intelligence is supposed to be closer related to human intelligence. They are the "non human people". It is beautiful to see friendship expand beyond their species boundaries, but not that strange considering that dogs are a mans best friend and that dolphins are the non human people!

I do not remember if this was a myth or scientifically proven correct, but when i took Zoology my teacher had us watch a video on undersea life. apparently there was a creature which is the ancestor of the dolphin went on land and was able to adapt and live on it which became the dog. while some stayed in the water that are now the dolphin. This can be why they can feel friendly around each other, it can be in their biological history.

This video is really amazing, it shows how even if we know nothing about each other, we are still able to connect and communicate in some sort of way. That it is all just up to us.

I like this video because it sends a message that it does not matter if we speak different languages but what matters is that we can help each other when someone is in need. And maybe get a friendship out of it.

Seems like a classic case of assimilation. Flipper believed there was a sincere, mutual interst for friendship. Fido viewed him as a tasty meal.

As I watched this little dog and pon- I mean dog and dolphin show, I was thinking that its all just a lot of editing designed to give me the illusion that these two are pals. A clip of the dog, a clip of the dolphin, back to the dog, back to the dolphin, and viola! They’re best friends. So I’m watching and thinking ‘sappy’, but really enjoying the Vangelis music when at 4:46 … Wow… did that really just happen? Was that dog really riding on the back of that dolphin? It sure looked real enough to me. So did the creators of this piece say to themselves, “Hey, here’s a dog who can ride on the back of a dolphin, we can build a whole story around this, with sharks as the bad guys (gotta have conflict), and a dolphin as the hero”. Get that dog’s agent on the phone, we’re gonna make him a big star…

By the way… what kind of jerk puts his boat in gear and floors it, without first making sure his dog is safely in the boat… idiot.

I believe that any animal can co-habit as long as they were raised around each other or live around that same species and are not violent in nature. Look at dogs nursing cats, when the mothers gone.

my dog got bit by a pony over the weekend while at petapalooza. She was too interested in what the heck it was. Sometime opposites dont attract.
